Don’t run for cover when the weather turns, take your cooking undercover with the help of the Ozpig Double Offset Chimney Pieces. These two elbow chimney pieces, bent at 45 degrees, can be attached to your standard straight chimney pieces to offset the chimney back further behind the Ozpig. Then you can set your pig up under an awning, or on your back deck, with the flue taking any smoke up and away from all of the action.

Plus by positioning one of the offset pieces right down the bottom of the chimney stack, you can create extra space to use a bigger camp oven, fry pan or wok on top of the Ozpig opening. The two offset pieces can also be further extended by adding more straight chimney sections (available to purchase separately) between them.

By using the pieces in any order, you can create a chimney configuration that suits your situation – while staying out of the elements and keeping smoke at bay. A locking pin stops the chimney from swiveling and keeps it perfectly vertical. Plus a handy lug at the bottom of the chimney section improves safety by allowing you to use a standard extendable tent pole to support the weight of the chimney, to prevent the Ozpig from going belly up.

For the ultimate in safety, the vented door puts you in control. With its swivel baffle design, the vented door can be closed while the Ozpig is alight providing both control and safety. Made from two steel doors, with stainless steel mesh between, the door effectively prevents host ash or embers from falling onto the ground – while still letting you enjoy the ambience of a crackling fire.

Use your hotplate lifter to easily latch/unlatch the door, and to open or close the vents to control the fuel burn rate and adjust the temperature of the cooking surface.

Open vents allow the flow of more oxygen for a hotter fire that’s perfect for high-temperature cooking and for that great open fire feel. While closing the vents will reduce the fire’s burn speed and temperature. The Ozpig door is easily changed over by removing the pin on the door hinge, then simply adjust the gap between the edge of the door and your pig evenly and tighten the locking nuts.

This little beauty is the ultimate tool for controlling the heat generated by your Ozpig. Placed on top of the Ozpig, between the fire and your pot or pan, the diffuser will instantly turn down the heat to make your cooking easier and the results more predictable.

The diffuser consists of two pieces of metal sandwiched together with a gap between each layer and a detachable handle. Then the hundreds of holes on the surface allow the heat to diffuse through evenly and slowly. This simple device eliminates hotspots and distributes heat for even cooking, while also turning the temperature down to a simmer for cooking things like chicken or fish, or for a slow cooked casserole. Or use the diffuser to lower the heat for a tender roast cooked on the rotisserie.

The diffuser also prevents dishes burning on the bottom, such as those precious juices in your camp oven or that delicious loaf of damper. This custom made basket fits neatly into the top of your Ozpig to hold your charcoal, heat beads or briquettes providing an alternative heat source for cooking on. With the basket sitting directly under the cooking surface, it provides cooking versatility and greater heat control, while also using minimal fuel.

One of our most popular accessories, the basket can be used with all your favourite cooking methods – including chargrilling and rotisserie cooking, which requires even heat over a long period of time. Plus the basket lets you ‘measure out’ just the right amount of heat, giving you extra heat or a cooler temperature for cooking delicate items like cakes.
