Maclean Outdoors accepts mail orders via our website, email or phone enquiry. Payment options include direct deposit, credit card and paypal. We deliver to Australian addresses only.
We carry a good range of products and are typically well-stocked but every now and then an item will be out of stock. In the event that an item you have ordered is out of stock we'll contact you to let you know, do our best to provide an ETA and will ask you if you're happy to wait. If required we will refund your payment immediately.
Phone orders: Placing an order via phone is the simplest and fastest method to place an order and is recommended if you are uncertain about which product you really want or need. We can process credit card transactions on the spot and in most cases ship out your product via registered Australian Post the same day. When ordering via phone or email freight rates vary based on weight, size and delivery location. Where applicable (and or cheaper) we will use pre-paid post packs.
Website shopping cart orders: The Maclean Outdoors online store uses an offline payment system as well as a Paypal shopping cart that facilitates real-time payment via Bank Acc, MasterCard, Visa and Paypal account
*Note: you do not need to have a Paypal account to use our shopping cart - it will use Paypal's gateway to process credit cards without a registered Paypal user account
This system is time-proven and safe and secure for online purchasing and we have been using for years without incident. Your payment details are not stored anywhere on our site or transmitted to us in any way - Paypal's gateway handles all of it! Shipping for online orders is calculated at a flat rate of $15.00
During checkout you will be prompted to login, register and account or alternatively use a guest account to make a purchase. Your personal paypal or credit card credentials are not recorded during registration and are thus not stored on our database regardless of which method you choose to proceed. The registration process simply records your email, username and password in our user database (which is completely confidential) for the sole purpose of making subsequent purchases a faster and simpler process. The guest account feature is there for those who cannot or would rather not register an account.
The offline payment system allows users to place an order without paying immediately. Upon placing an order you will receive an invoice of the order and a follow up email from us soon after. We'll provide direct deposit payment information in that email. Once you've made a direct deposit payment and it has been processed we will ship out your parcel immediately.
